What is DFS?

The DigitalFuture Summit is an annual event that connects student talent with the future of digitalization. It offers a unique learning experience by providing a space for exchanging ideas and information with exciting panel discussions, inspiring keynotes and hands-on workshops. The event will take place online on the mornings of July 9 & 10 of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The format will be similar to the in-person event, maximizing interaction between companies and participants.

Why should I apply for DFS?

DigitalFuture Summit is a unique opportunity to expand your network, increase your knowledge in interesting and actual topics, interact in an unconventional way with different types of businesses and companies and to just have fun.

Who can apply for the event?

Students, graduates and young professionals can apply to the event and get a FREE ticket for #DFS20.

How does the application process work?

Complete the form on our website by clicking apply now with your general information, you will also need to upload an updated CV. In the following 72 hours we will review application and send an email with the decision.
If your application is successful you will receive your ticket for the two-morning event. If you have any questions during the process do not hesitate to contact our team at info@dfs.esmt.org.

Where is the event held?

The event is held completely ONLINE to preserve the health and safety of all parties involved from any unnecessary risks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic!

How can I choose the different activities during the event?

Before the event a survey will be sent to all participants for them to choose the workshops and masterclasses they are interested in, in order to give everyone a wonderful experience.

What languages am I supposed to know?

The event will be entirely in English.

When does the event start and finish?

The DigitalFuture Summit 2020 will start on the 9th of July at 9am and the first day will end at 1pm. The second day of #DFS20 will be on the 10th of July from 9am until 1pm.

Which opportunities do I have to connect with companies?

You can network with companies during masterclasses, workshops, keynotes and breaks.
Also, your CV will be sent to our partners who may invite you for an interview during the digital event. This is a great opportunity you have to come in contacts with the big corporates as well as start-ups that will be present at our event. There will also be virtual company booths that will allow you to book a time slot to talk to the recruiters digitally present!

How do I know which companies and speakers will be at DFS20?

Stay updated by following us on social media, where we will be announcing speakers and companies. Also, don’t forget to check our website and your emails!

Do I need to be a student of ESMT Berlin to join DigitalFuture Summit?

It’s an open event, anyone can attend if they apply and are accepted to the DFS 20. Students can register for FREE!
